Street Fighter’s Ryu signs with WME! A rising singer/songwriter to CAA! A Grammy winner to UTA, a bunch of agents pivot to management, a long awaited sequel to the Mummy is official, and the new Scooby Doo series gets its Daphne! All this and more in today’s Notes From the Rep Biz!
At WME:
Actor Andrew Koji has signed with WME. Koji is most well known for starring in Cinemax and HBO Max’s series Warrior. He also portrayed Storm Shadow in 2021’s Snake Eyes: GI Joe Origins. He will next be seen in the upcoming Street Fighter adaptation playing Ryu.
Filmmaker Andrius Blaževičius is also a new sign for WME. The Lithuanian writer/director won the World Competition Directing award at this year’s Sundance for his film How to Divorce During the War, about a woman in Vilanius who decides to divorce her husband just days before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
WME has also signed influencer Amanda McCants. McCants is the creator of the hot mom and hot girl series on TikTok and Instagram. The series’ explore comedic takes on the hot mom and hot girl stereotypes. McCants has also been cast in a number of TV series appearing in Dr. Odyssey, Palm Royale, and The Rookie.
At CAA:
Krystiana Tiana is a new sign for CAA. Tiana is a momfluencer who makes slice of life content. Between TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Tiana has amassed over 27 million followers. She has partnered with such brands as Walmart, Verizon, and Nordstrom.
Singer, songwriter and TV personality Jesse Solomon is also a new sign for the Death Star. Solomon was a breakout star on the eighth, ninth, and tenth season of Bravo’s reality hit Summer House. Fans of the series responded to Jesse’s vulnerability especially when he opened up about being a cancer survivor. His third studio track “Into Space” was released last year.
At UTA:
Three time Grammy winner Victoria Monét is a new sign for UTA. Monét’s latest single “Let Me” was just released this month to much fanfare as it’s her first single in two years. Fans are hoping that the release is a taste of a new album, although that hasn’t been announced yet. Monet will be touring with Bruno Mars this summer in Europe and the U.K.
OTHER NOTES AROUND TOWN
Actress Kelly Marie Tran and comedian Pretty Vee are now agented by Gersh. Tran’s first major role was as Resistance mechanic Rose Tico in the Rian Johnson directed Star Wars entry The Last Jedi. From there Tran was the lead voice in Disney’s Raya and the Last Dragon, and will next be seen in Vera Miao’s horror film Rock Springs which premiered at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Pretty Vee came to fame from her appearances on Nick Cannon’s Wild n’ Out and spinoff The Women of Wild n’ Out. She is the creator behind the digital series Vee’s House.
Gersh agent Frank Wuliger has pivoted to management and has now set up shop at Echo Lake Entertainment.
Established Artists manager Jordan Holtzer has joined Luber Roklin.
Ian Greenstein is another agent pivoting to management. Greenstein has started his own management company Ascend Literay Management he comes from Innovative Artists.
Actress Denise Richards has signed with Innovative. Richards got her start as a model but quickly pivoted to acting with memorable roles in late 90’s cable staples such as Starship Troopers, Drop Dead Gorgeous, and Wild Things. Richards also was a Bond girl in The World is Not Enough. Lately, she has been in the reality TV world appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Denise Richards and her Wild Things.
MUSIC NOTES
Singer, songwriter, and rapper Brent Faiyaz is now managed by Roc Nation. Faiyaz got his start in 2016 with a guest performance on GoldLink’s single “Crew.” From there Faiyaz released his debut EP Into in 2017. His most recent album Icon was released this past September.
Range Media Partners has signed Meg Donnelly for music. Donnelly is best known for her roles in the Zombies series for Disney Channel which she has starred in since 2018. She made her Broadway debut this past year as Satine in Moulin Rouge.

New York Giants cornerback Cor’Dale Flott is now repped by Athletes First.
CASTING NOTES
Fans of the 90’s cinematic masterpiece The Mummy rejoice! Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz are now officially set for a fourth Mummy adventure. The plot is being kept under wraps (pun intended) but the film will be helmed by the filmmaking collective Radio Silence (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet). No word if Arnold Vosloo, Dwayne Johnson, or Oded Fehr will return.
Deadline reports that Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie is in talks to join A24’s comedy Peaked. The film comes from writers Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan who will also star and Gordon will direct.
The Netflix Scooby Doo remake has just found its Daphne. Mckenna Grace is set to star as the stylish redhead which will follow the origins of the Mystery Inc. gang. This is not the first time Grace has played Daphne as she voiced the role in the animated Scoob! from 2020. Grace will next be seen in next week's Scream 7.
