Ana De Armas has new agents! A Heated Rivalry star to CAA! Chance the Rapper has a new agency, and UTA has signed a TikToker and a YouTuber! All this and more in today’s Notes From the Rep Biz…
At WME:
The Ballerina herself Ana De Armas is now agented by WME. De Armas has been seemingly everywhere the past decade. With roles in Rian Johnson’s first Knives Out film, Blade Runner 2049, the James Bond No Time To Die, scoring an Oscar nom for Netflix’s Blonde, and joined the John Wick universe this past year in the spinoff Ballerina.
Fitness coach Joe Wicks aka “The Body Coach” is also a new sign for the agency. Wicks Instagram and YouTube accounts are some of the most followed in the fitness space. His daily YouTube workout became a hit during the pandemic. On top of that, Wicks launched the “Body Coach App” in 2020. Additionally, he is the author of the massively successful cookbook series “Lean in 15.”
Another new addition to the WME roster; singer/songwriter Rosé. Rosé hails from New Zealand and is a member of the K-Pop girls group Blackpink. Her first studio album “Rosie” was released this year and already has been getting accolades including; 2026 Grammy noms for song of the year (for “APT” a collaboration with Bruno Mars), record of the year, and pop duo of the year.
Writers/Directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are also new signs for the agency. The duo were writers on Spider-Man: Homecoming and wrote and directed Game Night and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Next up is that the duo will write, direct, and produce a new Star Trek film for Paramount. Daley is also an actor who got his start on cult favorite tv series Freaks and Geeks.
At CAA:
Director Mascha Schilinski has signed with CAA. Hailing from Germany, Schilinski’s film The Sound Of Falling premiered at this year’s Cannes film festival to rave reviews and will be Germany’s submission to the 2026 Academy Awards. The film will have its official U.S. release in January.
Keeping on the filmmaker train, writer/director Christian Swegal has signed with the agency. Swegal’s debut film Sovereign starring Nick Offerman, Jacob Tremblay, and Dennis Quaid premiered at Tribeca this past year and was subsequently nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards for Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor for Tremblay.
YouTubers The Stokes Twins are now agented by CAA. The duo is known for their prank and challenge videos. Their channel currently has roughly 133 million subscribers and many of their videos have gone viral. The twins are currently working on a streaming series along with unscripted shows as well.
Hudson Williams star of the HBOMax hit series Heated Rivalry, is a new sign for the Death Star. Created by Jacob Tierney, Heated Rivalry (based on the book series by Rachel Reid) is about a pair of rival Hockey players who share a secret romance has proved so popular that it was renewed for a second season after three weeks on the air. Hudson will next be seen in the upcoming films 8 and Encore.
At UTA:
YouTuber Cleo Abram has signed with UTA. Abram is the creator of the YouTube channel Huge if True which is all about explaining science and technology to a wide audience. Abram started the channel in 2022 and has amassed a huge following with roughly 11 million subscribers to date.
TikToker Max Balegde is also a new sign for UTA. Balegde’s TikTok account is a humorous pop culture showcase and he has amassed nearly 3.6 million subscribers on the platform. In 2024 an interview Balegde did with Millie Bobby Brown went viral and that has led him to create his own interview YouTube series called Performance Review.
Actress Madeleine McGraw is now agented by UTA. McGraw got her start in the MCU playing a younger version of Evangeline Lilly’s character in Ant-Man & the Wasp. Most recently, McGraw has been starring in horror films, including this year’s sleeper hit Black Phone 2.
OTHER NOTES AROUND TOWN
Managers Ryan Lucas And Amelia Shugrue have joined Linden Entertainment. Both Lucas and Shugrue come from the now shuttered 2AM. Their clients include; James Sweeny, Daniel Liu, and Sean Hayes.
Actress Vivica A. Fox is now agented by Innovative Artists. Fox is best known for her roles in Independence Day and Kill Bill. She also wrote and produced the Lifetime movie The Christmas Campaign and A Christmas Murder Mystery.
Writer/producer Gaia Violo is now managed by Anonymous Content. Violo is the creator of the new Paramount Plus Star Trek series Starfleet Academy.
MUSIC NOTES
Rising hip hop artist sewerperson is now agented by ROAM. sewerperson’s most recent album MPH was independently released this past October and he currently boasts 94,000 streams on Spotify.
Chance the Rapper is a new sign for Wasserman. Chance debuted in 2012 and his popularity has only been on the rise since. This past August he independently released his album Star Line and toured the album in the “And We Back Tour” which ran from September to October of this year.

Washington Mystics Forward Kiki Iriafen has signed with Excel Sports Management.
CASTING NOTES
John Stamos, Dale Dickey, and Cam Gigandet have been added to the season 2 cast of The Hunting Wives. All three actors are reportedly joining the season in recurring roles.
Hugh Laurie has joined the cast of the Amy Poehler starring series Dig. The Peacock series comes from Parks and Recreation co-creator Mike Schur and is based on the book Excavation by Kate Myers. The series will follow a group of women archaeologists who discover something in Greece that embroils them in an international conspiracy. Laurie will reportedly play a professor.
Amy Madigan who just had a breakout role in this summer’s Weapons has joined the Apple thriller Sponsor. The film also stars John C. Reilly and Jason Segel (who also co-wrote). Sponsor is directed and co-written by James Ponsoldt.
